State Council on Libraries and Literacy
The State Council on Libraries and Literacy (SCLL) consists of 11 members appointed by the Governor and 6 members representing agencies of Nevada state government. It serves an advisory role to the Division of State Library and Archives of the Department of Administration.
State Historical Records Advisory Board
The Nevada State Historical Records Advisory Board promotes the establishment and proper maintenance of archives and public records programs throughout the state. The governor appoints the board, consisting of the State Library and Archives administrator and public members to advise the administrator and make recommendations to the legislature.
State Records Committee
The State Records Committee was established in statute in 1993, NRS 239.073 et seq., to approve the retention and disposition of official state records for all state agencies.
