​In order to help support your meeting and internet needs during the special session, access to the State Library and Archives spaces is available to you and your staff. Under our current phase  Space is available by appointment as capacity allows, throughout the duration of the special session. Please find this list of available spaces, our PPE requirements, and safety protocols below. It is our honor to be available at all hours throughout the special session.

About NSLAPR's Meeting Spaces


Meeting Space Options:

The History Meeting Space seats 4 people

The Stewart Meeting Space seats 6 people

The Atrium Meeting Space seats 10 people

Instructions for Entering the Building:

When coming to the Nevada State Library, Archives and Public Records (NSLAPR) building, please be prepared to have your temperature taken.  Before entering the library, your temperature will be taken with a NON-CONTACT INFRARED THERMOMETER. CDC Guidelines indicate that individuals with a temperature higher that 100.4 degrees Fahrenheit should not be in contact with others. 

When you arrive at the NSLAPR building:

  • Make sure that your meeting reservation is confirmed.
  • Text 775-230-4964 to alert library staff that you are waiting to enter
  • Wait to be escorted into the building by a library staff member
  • Have your temperature taken with a non-contact infrared thermometer 
  • Wait to be escorted to your meeting room

Safety Measures and Social Distancing during a Meeting:

Each meeting space is set up to ensure attendee social distancing.  Attendees will follow the directional signs to their reserved meeting location.  

In addition to social distancing, a face mask or shield is required to be worn by every attendee of the meeting.  

Each meeting space will be equipped with:

  • container of Clorox sanitizing wipes
  • a large bottle of hand sanitizer for attendees to use upon sitting down
  • a face mask/shield (while supplies last) if an attendee forgot theirs
  • a trash can 

It is highly encouraged that meeting attendees bring all their own pens, pencils and other meeting supplies as they will not be made available by NSLAPR staff.  

Safety Measures Between Meetings:

After every meeting, NSLAPR staff will be disinfecting the meeting space and the resources provided.  In addition, meetings will be spread out to ensure social distancing.

Reservations are taken on a first come, first serve basis.
