The specific information needed for interlibrary loan purposes is:
1 Author: Use author as given on the system, even though yours may be listed differently (assuming it is the same book). For definition purposes, an author may take the form of a personal name, a pseudonym, a corporate body, a government agency, or an association. If there is no author, indicate "no author" or "title entry".
2 Title: Use the title as given in the entry.
3 Publisher/date: Use the publisher and date information listed in the entry.
4 Owning agency/circulation status: List the agencies owning the title and whether or not it is on shelf or circulating. If the book is circulating, note the due date so that the owning library can decide whether to reserve it for you or refer the request to another library.
5 Call number: Include all call numbers as given if you are not sure which belongs to whom.
Other information may be used to verify a specific edition or volume.
