Census Training Opportunities

Webinars, video tutorials and workshops are available to learn how to use census data and data tools.  The State Data Center, affiliates, Nevada's Census Bureau data dissemination specialist and the Census Bureau are available to provide training for you or your group. Details regarding these training opportunities are shown below. Please contact us with any questions or to set up a customized training session.

Webinars, video tutorials and classroom training opportunities are available from the Census Bureau.  Discover how to find and use Census data to: inform your business planning; support grant proposals and research projects; plan for local schools and hospitals, and more. The Census Bureau can meet your economic and demographic data needs.

Options for Learning
There are four principle ways to learn about Census data:

Webinars – live or recorded. No registration is needed.

Workshops – a network of data dissemination specialists (DDS) provide workshop trainings throughout the nation – these normally require advance registration. As an alternative to a workshop, the data dissemination specialists can schedule an individual webinar on specific topics.

Video Tutorials – recorded tutorials.  No registration is needed.

YouTube videos recorded trainings. No registration is needed.
