The Nevada State Library has a large collection of resources relation to the state's Native Ameircan heritage.
Our collection of Native American-related materials contains thousands of titles, both online and in print. This collection focuses on the history, culture, tribal governance, and socio-political issues (such as activism and reservation systems). Much of the collection is focused on the tribes whose traditional lands overlap with the state of Nevada, such as the Washoe, Paiute, and Shoshone. The collection also includes historic Native American census data.
The materials about Nevada Native Americans are supplemented by additional resources about Native Americans in the western United States in the general collection.
