On Friday, March 1 the Nevada State Library guided a patron through a visualization exercise in virtual reality. Preston, a cancer patient receiving treatment in Reno, regularly practices visualization meditation techniques and was intrigued at the prospect of using highly accurate 3D models of the human body to visualize healthy lungs in virtual reality. We set him up in the Lifeliqe VR Museum and he spent perhaps 20 minutes browsing the models and visualizing a healthy body. The above video was captured by Tammy Westergard during his visit.
