About State Records

Our services are extended to all Nevada State Executive Branch agencies to provide guidance on a full range of records management issues and services. 

Per NRS 239.008, the head of an Executive Branch agency is the Records Officer, unless otherwise designated.  Please complete a Records Officer Designation Form to update your agency's Records Officer. 

To make a change to the General Records Retention Schedule or your agency specific retention schedule, please submit a State Records Retention Schedule Change Request Form to records@admin.nv.gov.
