The Nevada State Library's microfilm collection of historical newspapers is located on the main floor of the library. Microfilm can be accessed during library hours. The library currently has 3 microfilm readers available for use. Users can perform research and save images to a flash drive as needed for use.
It should be noted that some of the historical newspapers that are on microfilm are now available through the State Library's electronic newspapers databases, the Library of Congress, and the newspaper's community publicly hosting the resources..
See the Online Newspapers page to view the full list of digitally available newspapers. The digitized papers will also be noted and linked to in their Microfilm record in this resource list.
