  • We welcome all visitors. Please notify us in advance of any accommodations required for persons in your group.
  • Researchers who contact us in advance about their interests have the most successful visits; the more prepared we are for your visit, the better we can help.
  • To safeguard important materials, please leave all food and drink outside of the Research Room.

The State Archives is open to the public Monday through Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm (excluding State Holidays).

The Nevada State Archives is located on the upper floor of the State Library & Archives building at the Capitol Complex. We recommend entering through the State Library and taking the stairs or elevator to the upper floor.


Parking

Free parking is available north of the Nevada State Library, Archives & Public Records on East Musser Street, and east of the Nevada Supreme Court building on South Stewart Street. A free parking garage is also available on the corner of 5th and South Stewart Streets.

The accessible entrance for those living with handicaps is on the east side of the building, notated by the letter H on the map.
