The Natural Resources Division of the CRC is responsible for protecting the rights and interests of the State of Nevada's allocated share of the Colorado River water.

The CRC holds and protects the rights of the State of Nevada to its share of Colorado River water under federal law and contracts.

The CRC purchases from the US hydroelectric power produced at Hoover, Parker, Davis and Glen Canyon Dams and resells the power to CRC's 23 municipal, industrial and retail customers.

The environmental staff are responsible for providing technical and administrative support to the CRC for management of its water and power resources.
