The mission of the Division of Industrial Relations (DIR) is to uphold the highest standards of health and safety services to all of Nevada's employees and the general public by providing outstanding workplace safety consultation, technical assistance and employee training and confirming that injured employees are properly cared for following a workplace accident or disease, through consistent enforcement and meaningful consultive support to businesses. The DIR operates within the Department of Business and Industry.
