Public libraries are essential community resources, providing access to educational, informational, and recreational materials. In rural Nevada, where such resources can be limited, bookmobiles play a vital role in bridging the gap. Through legislative funding, the state supports three bookmobiles: the Elko-Eureka County Bookmobile, the Humboldt County Bookmobile, and the Lincoln County Bookmobile, ensuring these services reach even the most remote areas.
To receive rural bookmobile support, libraries must meet Minimum Public Library Standards.
