Library staff at all publicly-funded libraries in Nevada can access paid online courses and events through our partner training opportunities. Through agreements with Library Juice Academy, WebJunction, and InfoPeople we are able to provide access to a variety of quality online learning at little or no cost to the participant.
Library Juice Academy offers a range of online professional development courses focusing on practical topics to build new skills. Courses are taught asynchronously by knowledgeable professionals who are actively engaged in the learning process. Additionally, LJA offers numerous certificate programs that enable you to gain and show evidence of mastery of a subfield of librarianship.
