Draft Vision Statement

Through a strong core, built around literacy and access, we cultivate the value of libraries by raising awareness and measuring impact.

On May 18, 2016, members of the Nevada Library community met with a facilitator to begin drafting the new Statewide Masterplan for Libraries (2016-2021). The day long process resulted in a draft five year vision and action plan which will be developed to include a vision, a list of challenges/threats, workable priorities and a proposed realistic action plan (with suggested action goals). 

The flipcharts produced during the planning session were recreated as a pdf printable document, which is available through the link below. The pages are setup in the order in which they were discussed, exactly as the day took place.
