• Total Available Funding:  ~$400,000; funding based on 2024 federal award
• Funding Period: September 1, 2024-September 30, 2025
• Funding Priorities:  
  1. Capacity and Sustainability
  2. Outreach and Partnerships
  3. Programs and Services
• Who may apply: Eligible Nevada Libraries.
  • Eligibility Requirements.
• Project requirements: 
  • Projects must advance Nevada LSTA Goals as outlined in the Nevada LSTA 5-year plan, 2023-2027
  • Projects must conform with 2 CFR 200, the Code of Federal Regulations for Grants and Agreements.

D. How to participate:

1. Preapplication Guidelines 
   • Read thoroughly before starting the application process.
2. View the Mandatory 2024 Competitive Application Webinar
   • Attend the mandatory 2024 Application webinar on April 4, 2024 @ 3:00 pm, or
   • View the recording posted here.
3. Schedule a project consultation with the LSTA Coordinator
   • Book time with Sulin Jones: LSTA Project Consultation
   • Consultation objectives: Discuss project ideas, allowability, budget, activities, etc. Project Consultations replace the Mandatory Proposal step required in previous LSTA grant cycles.
4. Optional 1st Draft: Due 06/14/24
   • Submit your optional application 1st draft through the online Grants Portal.
   • The LSTA Coordinator will provide verbal feedback.
   • Application template and instructions.
5. Application: Due 07/19/24 
   • Submit the application through the Grants Portal. 
   • Application template and instructions.
6. Final Steps, Award Notification and Funding Recommendations: August 2024
   • Award notifications and funding recommendations will be sent to applicants in August 2024.
   • Prior to finalization of the award, successful applicants must: 
     • Respond to funding recommendations.
     • Submit a complete set of Required Signature Documents.
