  • Projects must advance Nevada LSTA Goals as outlined in the Nevada LSTA 5-year plan, 2023-2027
  • Projects must conform with 2 CFR 200, the Code of Federal Regulations for Grants and Agreements.

D. How to participate:

1. Read the Pre-application Guidelines thoroughly.
2. Attend/view the 2025 LSTA Application webinar
3. Schedule a project consultation with the LSTA Coordinator
4. Optional 1st Draft (Cycle 2): Due 12/05/25
   • Submit your optional application 1st draft through the online Community Grants Portal
   • The LSTA Coordinator will provide verbal feedback.
5. Applications: submit through the online Community Grants Portal
   • Application deadline (Cycle 2): 1/16/2026 (no extensions)
   • Application template and instructions 
6. Award notifications and funding recommendations will be sent to applicants in February 2026.
   • Prior to finalization of the award, successful applicants must: 
     • Respond to funding recommendations.
     • Submit a complete set of Required Signature Documents.
