• Funding Level: up to $10,000 per funding cycle
• Total Available Funding:  ~$100,000; funding based on 2025 federal award
• Funding Period:
  • Cycle 1: September 1, 2025-September 30, 2026
  • Cycle 2: March 1, 2026-September 30, 2026 (funds permitting)
• Funding Priorities:  
  1. Capacity and Sustainability
  2. Outreach and Partnerships
  3. Programs and Services
• Who may apply: Eligible Nevada Libraries.
  • Eligibility Requirements
• Project requirements: 
  • Projects must advance Nevada LSTA Goals as outlined in the Nevada LSTA 5-year plan, 2023-2027
  • Projects must conform with 2 CFR 200, the Code of Federal Regulations for Grants and Agreements.

D. How to participate:

1. Read the Preapplication Guidelines thoroughly.
2. Attend/view the 2025 LSTA Application webinar
3. Schedule a project consultation with the LSTA Coordinator
4. Optional application 1st draft: submit through the online Community Grants Portal   
   • Cycle 1 first draft due: June 13, 2025
   • Cycle 2 first draft due: Dec. 5, 2025
   • The LSTA Coordinator will provide verbal feedback.
5. Mini Grant applications: submit through the online Community Grants Portal 
   • Cycle 1 application deadline: July 18, 2025
   • Cycle 2 application deadline: January 16, 2026 (funds permitting 
6. Final Steps, Award notifications and funding recommendations: August 2025/February 2026.
   • Prior to finalization of the award, successful applicants must: 
     • Respond to funding recommendations.
     • Submit a complete set of Required Signature Documents.
