State Records Services

The Nevada State Records Program  provides state agencies with the framework and resources to effectively manage public records in compliance with legal, regulatory, and operational requirements. The program includes developing and maintaining retention schedules, offering training and support, and ensuring proper records handling throughout their lifecycle—from creation to disposition. It helps agencies store, preserve, and manage records securely, ensuring transparency and accountability while promoting efficiency and compliance with records management laws and standards. The program also operates a records center to support the storage and preservation of long-term records.
